Watercolor and Ink Piece

This piece was done in watercolors and ink. It shows concepts and ideas as well as skills in using watercolors and lining a piece. The piece has a consistent color scheme and shows skill in both human and animal drawings.

This piece had a lot of concept thumbnails that I got feedback on. Before beginning the piece, I redrew the thumbnail bigger 2 different times to make sure I had figured out all the details before sketching out the final piece. After drawing the final I began adding layers of watercolor. When all the layers were done, I went in and inked the details. Finally, I went in and planned out the lettering and hand lettered it in ink.
